Nicole,

I hope you will be bringing them to the OCIC in 2009. We are planning a special catagory for 928 memrobilia with trophies to the best display, or the most unique items etc.

You shoud consider inviting this guy from France... He brought all of this to the 30th 928 anniversary in Stuttgart - in his 928 with the German and French flag. Very funny guy - works for some American candy company.

Those IKEA cases look really nice. A friend of mine and I welded in rods to enable the addition of 4 more shelves due to the smaller (1/43rd) scale of my collection. Works well enough that I'm modifying 6 more cases. The challenge will be to dust proof them. I'm thinking some type of weather stripping.

Cool! Where did you get the additional glass shelves?

Henderson Glass: a chain of glass supply stores in this part of the country (MICH) will cut / edge / polish glass to any size you specify. They've provide glass for me for different applications from frames, table tops, bathtub enclosures etc. Don't know if the franchise exists in Calif. If not I'm sure any glass supply store will be able to do the same.
