It doesn't seem to match the body lines well enough to be OEM.
There are a couple of unused bolts up there in the hatch frame but I think those are for mounting the luggage rack.
If you are taking about that ugly thing on the roof, it's NOT factory. That is one of those fiberglass things that Jacquemond sells. Here is the link. www.Jacquemond.com

I can't find any wing like that on the sight you linked, they all look more integrated with the 928 design than the ones on the picture in this thread. I wonder what they are good for though...
The only benefit I can see it adding is turbulence. If you add turbulence you reduce the aerodynamic drag created by the sleek car design. This would allow you to travel a little quicker possibly. It is the same principle as the dimples on a golf ball. If you take the dimples away the ball looses velocity and distance.
I do not think that this wing would provide such benefit.
Reminds me of the upper OEM rear spoiler I had on my 85' Supra (file photo) http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/rearsupra.jpg
That wing is actually a Strosek part. Look on their site, and if you can even find the 928 stuff (I have hard copies of it and their price list if anyone wants info, email me), you will see it on there listed as a roof spoiler or something. I've seen it done and not look too bad, but I wouldn't buy one.
I have seen wings like that on a variety of vehicles, including mini-vans!!!
As far as I could tell, they are placed there to direct air down the rear glass to blow rainwater off.
I doubt very much that any performance is gained. Means you don't have to use your rear windshield wiper anymore though.
