Default Interior color code confirmation

Can anyone "definitively" tell me what the interior code HA means? I know it is a red, but I need to know which one. i.e. 928 Can-Can or 929 Lobster, or even 3171 Red - I don't think it is 3171.

Here's a link if you want to see it, just to verify. http://picasaweb.google.com/babygadz...ey=rxpGv_zNd78

Thanks
Rod

Trim Code: HA
Material: Leather and Leatherette
Primary Color: Red - Secondary Color: Black
Seat Material: Leather
Color Code for Seats: XG1 (Plum Red)
Carpet Color Code: 70E (Black)
Available for 1987 and 1988.

Can-Can shows for that year as 944. The red for the 928 which seems slightly lighter is called Lipstickrot/plum red.
Confirmed: XG1 = Plum Red. This is the color of your interior.

...ok done editing...

Great!!!

I assume the "XG1" for the seats is the 1371 red, since that's what I need to replace, but just the fronts, so I want to make sure it matches. Did you take a look at the link? I thought it looked a bit lighter than the 1371, but photos on the internet are sometimes misleading. (I'm getting rid of those red door inserts, they're just a bit too much for my taste.

Thanks

Hmmm, "Plum Red" is not one of the options listed on the GAHH site for Porsches. http://www.gahh.com/smp-v20-c05-a.php I wonder what that means? This could turn into a nasty exercise. I obviously can't order leather until I know exactly what I have. CRAP!!!

I got the info from Porsche.

I also looked at the color sample. None of the Gahh colors match what I saw. Plum is a bit lighter (less color, Think slightly faded Guards Red). Can-Can is too much Red, and Lobster is too Dark. Boxster red has a bit of brown in it from what I can see in the picture.

Sorry.

Thanks for your help. At least you saved me from making a very expensive mistake. I may still make it, but I've put it off for a bit.

ERZENGAL

Can you Decode "QH" for me. Its for my 1990 GT.

Apparently you can decode this down to what color the leather is, the carpet and trim color. Would love to know what you find. I had never known that these 2 letter codes were covering more then just general trim colors. They seem to be much more detailed then listing just one color.

Please help, whats QH?

Yeah, there are a billion of combinations for each car, so its just a matter of checking that Trim Code based on the car.

Trim Code: QH
Material: Leather and Leatherette
Primary Color: Cashmere Beige - Secondary Color: Black
Seat Material: Leather
Color Code for Seats: XN4 (Cashmere Beige)
Carpet Color Code: 8UT (Cashmere Beige)
Available for 1989 and 1990.

QH for 1991, 1993, and 1994 928's has a different Color Code for the Seats: ATY (Still Cashmere Beige, just different number for reference to the part)

Finally a confirmation its cashmere beige, the same color i ordered from color plus last week. Thank god it was the right one. Does the later color code read 941?

Where is this info anyway? Is this buried in the PET somewhere?
