Default Seat disassembly (for re upholstery) help needed please

Can anyone direct me to a link or description on disassembling the seats (I think they're 'sport seats', with the 8 way power adjustment)?

I've got the seats out of my car, and the back is separated from the bottom section, but when I try to take the cover off of the seat bottom I'm stymied. There is a wire that goes around through a bead or loop to tighten it down, I've loosened that, and there are pointed pieces of sheet metal that get bent down to make hooks to attach the leather all the way around, but I can't seem to pry the leather out from between the seat bottom and the tracks. Does something have to be further disassembled or is it just stuck there from being on for 22 years and I just have to yank it out?

Here's a pic of the front part at the wire:

It's stuck at the part on the right where it goes under the seat track (I did try adjusting the seat tracks all the way back using a cordless drill, still no luck).

Anyone?

It makes me look like I've got big hands.

Sorry, I'm at work so I can't resize now, I'll get it when I get home.

I responded to your other thread also.

Specifically to this question, you can cut that wire and stretch the bottom skirt back to it's original shape to remove it from the frame.

A similar wire should be part of your new covers. If not, you should contact who sold the covers to you and ask for one.
If you try to re-use the old one, they usually fail on you at the last minute.

The hooks you are referring to are part of the frame and should be carefully unbent. Be polite with them, they have a tendency to break, especially if the cover as been replaced before.

Thanks a million Paul,

So basically the part where it goes in between the track and the frame is just stuck there from all these years of being in contact? Do I have to disassemble any further or is it basically just wrapped around the lower seat section?
