Default How long to open sunroof?

Does anyone know how long the sunroof should take to open and close?
Mine seemed a little sluggish (not having been opened since the fall) so I timed it with the stopwatch on my i-phone.
With the engine running, the best times I could come up with were:

OPEN: 4.0 seconds
CLOSE: 3.8 seconds

What would be an Olympian time, I wonder?

It should take 9 months to open it if you live up north

Adjust the wind deflector.

I usually wait until it's at least 50 degrees out.

Until I get my AC fixed, I ride unzipped constantly. The sunroof is slow and prodding, like the rest of the electronics. Thankfully the engine isn't.

I cleaned the tracks completely on mine, then sprayed it with greaseless lubricant, and it opens twice as fast as it did prior.

The sunroof is tiny. But it's placement is such that the open roof is actual in your peripheral vision, so you know it's open. The sunroofs on all the other cars I've own are located farther back, and you hear they are open, but can't really see of feel it, at least in the front seat. I'm not sure that was intentional, but I think it worked out well in the 928.
