Default New paint on the 90

Just in the process, looooong process of getting the 90 ready for my wife. I brought it back from the painter today and I really like it. (She does too, which is important, if you know what I mean.) I finally had a lucky good day to bring it home.

That stuff you see (white) is something we in the midwest call snow. I know some of you have seen it before and perhaps even more, but the lucky of you get to drive all year and never see it.

I had the side moulding, headlight washers, and rear wiper removed. It had some minor damage on the drivers rear quarter and he repaired that. I can't find where he did the repairs and I really tried. He's a good guy.

It's Linen Grey Metallic with a different metallic flake and it really sparkles in the sun. I really can't wait to get it back together and running.

Oh, those are "paint wheels" on it. I have some of those new turbo twists that we savaged a few weeks ago to put on it.

Just happy and sharing.

Rod

Are you going with a new interior also?

One of the several good aspects of living in the midwest (discounting the snow) is that you can get good quality paint and body work for a reasonable price. (If you're willing to do all of the tear down and rebuild after it's painted.)

I already have a new leather dash, pod, steering wheel, console (from Rob and Paul) and some good leather replacement rear quarters (from Roger). Roger also helped me get the seat bolsters redone.. The carpets are in good shape, so I'll probably hold off for a while on those.

After all, she did get a horse as well. (a gray mare named Porsche, those of you who are married will understand the nuances of this.)

She'll probably be getting another horse before long since the black 87 is on the way.

Looks great Rod! He did a much better job of fixing that quarter panel than I did. :-)

Can't wait to see it all together.

Rod,
Looks nice. You nailed it on the cheap auto work in midwest, as long as it is not full of cancer! Most of the good guys dont want to mess with it!

Born and raised in Logansport...dont hold that against me! Now live in Dallas with Roger and the DFW group. Dont hold that against me either. Several family members are BSU grads. How bout them Cardinals making a bowl game. Stovall tearing it up in Basketball!

Get us some pics once you get it back together.

Small world I say. I was also born and raised in Logansport. Probably long before you were there, but....
