I was actually thinking of cutting a piece of wood the shape of the spare tire opening and using the spare tire section as the enclosure. My car didn't come with the spare tire so I'm not loosing anything.

if i mount the basslink to a piece of wood on the bottom of the floor that will only raise the basslink up another 1/2 inch which is counter productive to me. I am looking for something not so obvious as a way to mount it. For now its heavy enough that it just sits there just fine, if i was on a track though it would be bouncing all over the place.

You don't need 2 subs, just get a quality sub and build the correct enclosure. A single 10in sub should need +/- one foot cubed in a sealed enclosure. I have an average sub and a .85 foot cubed enclosure.

BTW: I just got in from the garage, I was able to get the RCA cables and the remote line run from the HU back to where the amp is going. I used your routing behind the dead pedal and along the driver's side. There's a groove in the floor right along there and I just put it under the carpet in that, and it lays flat, thanks!
Tomorrow, I power it up!

I have a raised floor in the hatch. I couldn't seem to come to an agreement with watercooler as to how to get his INCREADIBLE setup so I had to do what I could to get everything working. This is a temporary solution while I get those pesky maint things done 
Sorry, I seemed to have gone a little overboard.
Oh, BTW I have stained/dyed the seat back, it is no longer all bleached out.

Michael pretty cool setup. I may do the same thing to hide everything. The raised trunk seems like a cool idea and simple too. Jason

NJSharkFan, did you take any pictures during your wiring install. If so, I would love to see them. Also, I would like to see your Sub setup.

Also, I think that the reason most guys build an encloser for the sub is that the well itself is to large an enclosure to provide the best sound out of the sub. Michaelathome's discussion on the 1 cubic foot sealed encloser is an important consideration in the sound the sub will produce.

I'll take some pics today. The problem is it looks like CRAP because my carpet is original and very ratty, and so are the seat covers. I want to get everything perfect before I post pics of the whole thing. I've got the seat covers and I'm waiting on the carpet. I'm going back out in an hour or so to power up the amp, which will power the rear speakers and sub. It's been a loooong road.

Here is what I had when I purchased the car. Great smelly **** carpeting and to the right, out of the picture, was a cheesey wooden handmade Porsche emblem. The sound was fair. The amp was in the spare tire well.
I have taken this out, made a custom cover out of plywood for the spare tire well and cleaned out all of the stereo mess the PO had. Now, I am going to reinstall one of the woofers in spare tire well correctly, without **** carpeting.
Maybe a nice berber
