I love to see a time and location please!
I'm in - if for no other reason then to see what your car can do Mark
Maybe get George over there too. I imagine with fuel cost the way they are - even a slight improvement in tuning will pay for itself quick!
Lets see what Tim can do with that little tool of his
As I see it we need a baseline...
I'll volunteer to help the pot and run up the oldest 928 around!
I know I won't be long because proper cars don't need no hammer.
And unlike the rest of youze guys - I ain't scared
Do they have straps or do I just pre-chew gum enroute to hold the front tires to the floor

It is contingent upon Whitefox though - there is a good possibility we can finish his car on Saturday morning and both be headed up. The only thing missing is the cable end and bolting up the shields and exhaust. Maybe everyone can send positive vibes - (get out of bed and head to Mikes place EARLY Whitefox!)

Firemed, you just saved me a phone call. I was going to call you to give you the heads up. Maybe we can go karting Sat. eavening. More casual than last time.

My house; Tim is getting here around 1:00 with his crew, dyno is reserved for 1:00. I did a dyno last year in Sarasota so I do have a base line, which is good.

I'll be ok however it turns out - I'll bring my DDsquared (designated driver x daily driver) - It ain't easy having 48 hours off in 24 days - and that would be this Saturday and Sunday
I may work hard - but I party hardier

Hey Mark - by baseline I was speaking of the weakest shark ever produced - the 78 with who knows how many miles on it. The speedo quit @ 110,000 and that was light years ago

I was there for that dyno session. I believe the ambient temp was about 96. Bound to be more favorable this time around. G

Your car is the #1 priority, and "one hour" on the dyno goes by really fast.
Without a brake (or eddie current) dyno, it might take longer than usual.

I would allocate a minimum of two hours for your car, just to be safe.

I just talked to Tim (he was trying to find a parking spot at some theme park). He wants to know if the go-carting event is kid friendly.

I called Tim yesterday and never heard back from him. Tell him to call me tonight. I will find out about the kids and go karts today.

He called me since he had some questions about something we are working on. I'm not sure his phone is on / with him much on vacation.

PM me your phone number just in case and I'll make sure he gets. I'm sure he will call me back tonight or sometime tomorrow.

The gokart event will remain kid friendly - until my 13 yr old daighter whoops all of your ***** - then some may get upset

Seriously - my daughter is small and is allowed to drive the larger karts - I think the requirements are a preset value of 42", thereby discrimination against the vertically challenged. They have a thing about short people with Napoleon complexes needing to reach the brakes - who'd a thunk you'd need 'em

Once again for for those of us who forget where the search function is

Firemed,

Disregard our conversation this morning regarding a $40 dyno session in Bradenton. I got a call today informing me that that place has closed its doors forever. I guess they should have charged more for their dyno time.

Every dyno shop I've been to has two rates, one per hour for tuning, and a flat rate for 2-3 pulls.

Someone PLEASE take a photo of Tim in a go-cart..
