It's not the owner of the dealership's car. It's been for sale since June 2007. I have been looking at this car.
It has had a motor replacement by Porsche due to high oil consumption at 19k miles. The replacement motor has a number belonging in an automatic GTS (not sure that makes a difference but it does have the wrong number for a manual trans car). The entire front end has been repainted and nobody knows why. The rear bumper has been off the car for some reason and nobody knows why (painted? damaged?). And as if that weren't enough, there is a ton of defered maintenance that needs to be done immediately (timing belt not replaced since the motor was put in the car ~1997).........
In spite of all that bad stuff, I am interested in the car. I want a GTS I can drive and restore (even paint - if I am the one who paints it) but because of all the bad with this car; not at the price they are currently asking.
