Don---

I am seriously interested, but can't see it until next weekend.

I'm just in Kingwood, a short drive from you.

I'll send you a PM to discuss this further.

(first PM has the wrong phone number---resent correct one on next PM)

Thanks--

That front cover problem is classic lacquer w/o flex agent. That will make it easier to strip though.

I'd love to pick it up but it's just a bad time for it.

Somehow the engine pictures didn't make it on the thread here they are.

I polished the intake tubes a few years ago, so with some buffing, they will shine better than they do now.

Yes that's bird crap on the upper radiator hose. The hood stays up a lot, and we have some birds that like to hang out in our garage. It has now been removed. (I should have Photoshopped it out of that shot)

This is a K-jet right? My 81 US is a L-jet. Interesting.

If K-jet is CIS, then yes. I never can remember which "jet" is which, but I believe the euros still had CIS after the US had gone electronic.

Yes, Euros were CIS/K-jet/KE-jet through 83.

Just to be curious you wouldn't be interested in trading for a motorcycle?

Jeez, vultures. I sent a PM two days ago, and was put off. Well, at least I'll get to enjoy it vicariously. Looks like it'll stay in TX. If one of you local scum need to use a car hauler, mine's avail.

PM not sent.

So it's gone? I'm amazed it lasted this long.

Good, cause I didn't say it was gone. However, there are three guys in TX interested besides me. And one in North TX(OK).
