Default 78 FS in SF Area (Santa Cruz)

I learned of this 78 for sale in Santa Cruz. What I know about it includes:

Motor rebuilt 10,500 miles ago
Fresh paint with one small door ding
Original interior, some dash cracks
100-150K miles (I guess speedo was replaced or odometer was fixed)
Everything functions on the car except the heater switch
Receipts for all work done on the car
$6K/OBO

Whats the exterior color on this car? Looks neat, like a light blueish silver. Has the Posha seats & is a 5spd too. Thinkin Ole Roger will be tempted again, he just might be starting a 5spd OB collection! It'd be neat to have a '78 5spd, I'd sure like one, .....one day!

Hi Bill,
Is that the original color?
Best,
Roger

Hmmm. I'm looking for a passenger seat for my '79 that matches the seats in this car exactly.

If anyone knows where one is available or where there might be enough material to recover one seat, please let me know!

Was the trim removed for the respray? Seems like beadings and mirror gaskets are painted. That would be a shame!

Sure looks like the beading was painted.

I don't know the color or if it matches the original.

I can contact the fella via email, but anyone else who is interested can do likewise.

I see it is a Euro too.

Oh, one other things....he actually described that the motor as "refurbished" 10,500 mile ago, which I interpreted as rebuilt, but I could be wrong.

If anyone wants to learn more about the car, PM me and I'll give you the owner's phone number. I'd be glad to go look at it for anyone that is still interested after talking with the owner, but that would probably be weekend after next.
