Default Got bored today so I washed the dog

.... decided to do some sound checks & **** off my neighbors in the process.

BTW for those that don't know already - that’s not a stock exhaust - it's an aftermarket Borla cat-back system with a strait through Y-pipe (no-Cat).

Yeah for some reason the sound quality isn’t there. Truth is I used my Fujifilm S700 that’s really a great digital camera but not really made for taking anything but short little videos. I’m going to try to retake the video using a real video camera.

As for my choice of footwear Hacker?.... Two words - Bite Me…

Cold she idles about 1100 rpms before settling down to the normal 8-900 rpms.

In the videos she's not quite warm yet.

BTW here's another outake I tried inbetween the other two above.

Listen to the noise it makes about mid-way through the video?

What I’m doing is letting off of the clutch (trans out of gear) and it starts making that high pitch noise. For the record I don't have any shifting issues and it seems to drive just fine. But I do seem to remember one of the early complaints about the 928 was it’s noisy transmission. Not exactly sure what it (the noise) is, but I’m guessing it has something to do with the duel clutch setup.

Thoughts?

"love 16 valves"

wait till you get 32

That noise is pretty loud, i don't have any idea what it is but i would be concerned. Maybe a throw out bearing or something, you said it happens when your playing with the clutch so i would think TO bearing possibly. But i am not much for diagnosing, others here should know. I would ask about it in another thread to get attention to the noise.
