87 s4. Today engine stalled few times on red light, then for a litle bit was allright, then just died. Trying to start idleing rough, then dies as soon I step on gas. When ignition on and engine not running I can hear clicking I think from injectors covers. Please help.

From my experiance these are the absolute symptoms of a bad LH computer. Do not waste any money having a mechanic trying to find out what is wrong with your 928 !! The LH computer is easy to install yourself, all you need is a 5mm allen wrench and a 10mm socket or wrench. In a pinch you can even unplug the LH connector from the mounted bad unit and plug it in to the new one and leave it on the floor till you get home.
FYI, a new Genuine Porsche rebuilt for your 87 is $995 with a $50 core charge and has a 2 year warranty.

One is the LH-Jetronic (fuel injection) ECU, and the other is the EZK (ignition) ECU.
They are interconnected, so unplugging either kills the injection.
