Default What r these 3 wire connectors under driver seat?

Hi,
I found 3 pairs of wire connectors (male/female) under my drivers seat, does anyone know what they are? (1984 US).
a. They are all unconnected, but everything else in the car seems to work.
b. They seem original.
c. They each have about 5 wires coming out of each connector.
d. Each of the 6 connector (3 pairs) has a color-coded dot sticker on it: red, red/yellow, blue, brown, black.

When I connect them up (trying to connect the like-with-like colors of the wires), nothing changes with the car.

Any advice would be appreciated...especially since Ive been having problems with my cardoor locks, and am hoping this might be related.

Thanks!

Radio / stereo / amplifier connections. Auxilliary wiring diagrams will help ascertain.

Car locks have some unusual behavior designed-in. Say more, maybe we can help.

I've charted most of the wires on the A-Z connectors, and have an operable 84 with no interior, kind of a rolling laboratory, so that combined with expert help from Mr Merlin and a few others here who still post about the earlier cars --- nothing of this nature we can't figure out!

depending on whether you have a 1) basic radio, 2) radio with 8 loudspeaker (Hi Fi option) or 3) an amplifier in conjunction with 2), you may have different connectors under the drivers seat.

The 1983 wiring diagrams show the various connectors and call-out green, yellow, red, brown, etc dots, that in turn help sort-out the connections at the main components. 84 diagrams also show them, but they are in a sub-par format from my perspective.

I "extracted" mine, along with at least two other sets of stereo wiring remnants. Will be starting fresh for my eventual "install".

Hang-on, I'll find you some information about the door locks.

Complex circuit. Anchored by function of relay VI, available for about $15.
CD's of manuals would be very helpful to you.
