Saw this 928 on auction in Japan. What color is that?

 

It's a very pretty color.

 

Nice find Luc............colour is perhaps Turquoise?

 

Wimbledon Green. There is a GTS in the US and a GTS in Europe in that color, maybe more.

Is that Wimbledon?

It looks like a early 996 color that was pretty rare. Of course that was like late 97 that it came out and this car predates it by at least 3 years.

Maybe its just the lighting but it dosent look like Wimbledon to me EDIT: Ok looking at tthe link for the 10 million dollare GTS with Wimbledon and that dark green and RED interior it does look like the same.

 

What's up with all the GT/GTS's showing up for sale in Japan?? That's about the 3rd I've seen that I would love to have!!!

 

I think it's Turquoise Metallic..and yes...Kie out here in the Pac NW owns one in that color (a 91S4)..It's even nicer in person..great unique color for a 928...

The GTS in the first pics and the link to the 93 GTS that has been for sale for ~4 years (reduced from $100k to $75k!) are both Wimbledon Green Metallic.

 

Hahaha, $100k for a 15 year old car! Some people are hilarious.

...especially when he bought it for somewhere around $30k and put that site up to sell it for $100k within months.

 

Its a 15 yr thing when they come available to Canada and importing them is not difficult.

Not so in the USA I understand.
