Raining cats and dogs here in Clearwater. I don't think they'll let us drive in the rain, but even if they did, it'll be more like skiing than driving, notto mention thunderstorms and lightning. Just thought I'd report an update on the weather.
I've said before and I'll say it again...the go-kart place is missing out on a lot of business by not having a covered track

From: We are there!(San Diego)
I am making an executive decision for the good of the masses. We will now go kart at 6:30 and then go to dinner afterwards. I know this may inconvenience a few people but if we go by our original schedule, there may not be any go karting.
Please call me at 863-559-5967 if you have any questions. The address for the karts are posted earlier in this thread.
I'll see you all there.

It was a good time, I think. Didn't see any go carts but there were a lot four wheeled boats at that marina. Fun playing pool and eating off of several plates at once. Nice meeting new faces . The news item of the evening was the appearance of Ross. As you will see when Shawn posts, Ross made an extra effort to get noticed. It seemed he was everywhere at once. When Mike untied him and removed the duct tape, he seemed relieved that his streak of no-shows had ended. Now that he's unpredictable again, we'll see if he'll make it two in a row. G

It was a monsoon, so no carting . But the company was good, as was the food & drink. Well worth the drive over.
The drive home back through that mess of a rain storm was interesting. Certainly didn't put any wear on the tires I as think I hydroplaned pretty much the whole way back
Soupcan & Shadowknight, those are two fine looking 928s you got!

Sorry guys. That was absolutely the worst weather we have seen in 6 months. I promise to do better next time. Here are a few pics. Ross and the Rossett's were in fulleffect. Rhissa and Doreen were testing their punching ability. They ended up with the high score. A few pics of the rain and flooding. The reason that there are no pics of the 928's is because we had to move them to keep them from taking on water. It was so bad that when George A. moved his car, he had to resort to wearing his bathing suit and no shoe's.

Where did the weekend go? Hey guys it was good times. So after the brief rain event on Friday I can 100% confirm that my shark is water tight... a good thing to as I was running out of rubber seals to replace.
