Default My First 928 S4!!

I just bought my first 928. It's an '87 S4 automatic with 82k miles. It's had 3 owners, has complete service history, and always been garaged and covered. Near perfect paint (all original) and excellent interior (no dash cracks!!). The only thing it needs right now is a replacement speaker grill for the tweeter in the door (can anybody help me with that?). This is my first Porsche also, so I am definitely a newbie. I'm already on the trigger to order a set of 18" Carrera wheels and Yokohama S.drive Z-rated tires.

Here are some pictures:

Nice car. Welcome to Rennlist!

I think the factory speaker grills are NLA or ultra expensive. But I could be wrong.

Very Nice!! Congratulations! I still remember the excitement when I got my first S4!

I just got an 85 parts car in and I may have the speaker grille. Give me a call tomorrow and I will see if can help you out.

I think the grilles are NLA, but I've had good luck finding used ones. Hey DR, do you have the rear 4" grilles? Dibs if so.

David,

I am in NC also.

I have looked at your GTS Brake kit as well.

I'll call you tomorrow about the speaker grill.

Thanks

I will look tomorrow and let you know, I literally got back with it less than an hour ago and haven't really looked that close at it.

Richard,

The car will be delivered either Friday or Saturday, so if I get it Friday I may try to come up there. My Sgt has a white '06 Caymen S and he goes up there sometimes.

Also, does anybody have some pictures of steering wheels for this model 928? I want to upgrade to a nice leather Momo or something similar.
