Default Performance "Y" Pipe Options??

So I found that my stock "Y" pipe is leaking at the junction where the 2 arms meet just before the catalytic converter. The weld-seam broke and I'm planning on attempting to repair it (re-weld).

However, I'm also interested in purchasing a performance "Y" without CAT and keep both the stock and performance pipe. At this point, I would consider both new or used options (if someone had a used one they wanted to sell).

Does anyone have any experience with these performance "Y" pipes?? Vendor sources?? Were there any mods required to use it (e.g., O2 sensor placement) or heat shielding issues (the stock system had built-in heat shields)? What about the air injection tube from the air pump - just let it keep on pumping air into the open at the connection or take the belt off the air pump all together?? Lastly, were there any noticeable gains in miles per gallon or HP?? Any significant increase in noise?? THANKS!

Roger Tyson (Rog100) has them in his shop for around $380, I think. Carl Faucett at 928 Motorsports also has the pipe. Its the Y pipe from the headers and eliminates the cat...

I'm hoping to do the same to mine this spring. I bought the headers, but I have to buy the pipe from Roger.

PM Roger. He can help you out
