A digital monkey is something (it saddens me that I have to say this) any grown adult shouldn't take very seriously.

Not to mention your memory is a bit fuzzy as to who posted the video.

And, the comments I'm referring to were 10x's worse then the video.

Your right about the thread at first being just about the somewhat laughable price for the kit.

But upon further review i found some great info about parts of the kit being for sale.

I was actually kinda pissed when i came onto Rennlist this afternoon and wanted to report back about a conversation i had about this setup and low and behold its gone, and again without warning and the entire thread was removed. THIS HAPPENED LESS THAN A WEEK AGO WITH THE REMOTE TURBO THREAD! Perhaps for differing reasons, but i want to know why these threads are going away. Without the members and posters there is NO rennlist. I think this thread has shown that i am not alone in my disapproval with this editing thats been going on.

Perhaps im overstepping but i think someone should be accountable. If there was a post that was out of line, do what you have to to the offending parties, BUT STOP REMOVING ENTIRE THREADS!

I didn't see any of the thread, so have no idea what was said, but I think I can probably guess who's being refered to. Makes me wonder if someone who shall remain nameless didn't start talking about or implying legal action if it wasn't removed, which is something that had been done here previously.

I really have no idea because I didn't see the thread. Offhand, I can think of three instances here where legal action was threatened or implied over things that were posted. I know at least one of those disappeared into a cyber black hole.

Is there really a need to remove entire threads?

If you can come up with a reason why this thread was removed then fine. But will that reason also apply to why the previous rear turbo thread (started by another member) that was also completely removed without any word or warning? Both happening in the space of 4-5 days?
