Option group 889? on 83S
Been trying to do some research on this shark I'm buying. The owner still has the original window sticker. It shows:
928S Sports Car $43,000
All Leather Interior 2,150
Option Group 889 1,760
Monteray Dig Cass Radio 795
Leather Storage Box, Rear 145
Protective Side Moldings 195
Power Seat, Right 660
Anti-theft Device for Wheels 50
5-Speed Transmission
Total was $49,105.
How do I find oout what was in the Option Group 889?

It might be B89 or 389, it's kinda hard to see and I'm also looking at a picture of it, not a scan. I'd post it right now but my host seems to be down for some reason.

389 Porsche-car radio, CR stereo, type US?
It seems a bit strange since there was another stereo as well... Maybe the factory unit has been replaced but the option code still listed from Porsche Center?
But then the price comes to mind, 1760 bucks for a car stereo in 1983... :-/

Agreed, I actually thought that had I been buying this car new, I would have opted for a radio delete option. $795 for a Blau cassette system? in 1983?
I don't think this code, whatever it is, is going to be listed in the normal options codes lists. maybe those guys in Canada can shed some light on this, I just hate to wait 4 weeks to find out.
