Default 928 "Super Clamp" now sold by 928 vendors

Greetings,

As many of you already know, the 928 "Super Clamp" aka the "Constantine Clamp" is now being carried by two well known 928 parts suppliers, 928 Specialists and 928sRus! This will help get the clamp to those that need it and at the time it's needed.

This is a big step forward for our just established company, Black Sea Research & Development, LLC. More products that will benefit 928 as well as 944 owners are forthcoming.

Many thanks to the 928 community,
Constantine

This thread is worthless without a photo and description of the product use.

We have photos, description and installation instructions on our website, look under "New 928 Products" on the main store page, or look in the Performance, Transmission, or Maintenance sections on our website. You can also just type Super Clamp in the search box and it will pop right up.

Congratulations to Constantine on his new venture, after all of our conversations over the last few years it is great to see his vision becoming a reality! I look forward to seeing more 928 products emerging from the "Black Sea" in the future!

Here is a direct link to the install instructions.

Here is a quick pic.

Nice looking, not for me obviously with a 5 speed

But is kinda recall the previous version looking more like the clamp used on the 5 speed to join the mid shaft and the shaft from the torque tube. Was the previous version different looking or was that something else that i was thinking of?

looks just like a rigid coupling. I wonder if it works the same way.
