I think that was me who was seeking a green-grey interior for my 86.5 meteormetallic. I thank you for remembering. As luck would have it, I met someone with an almost identical car, who had removed and stored almost the entire interior after converting his car to race use. Now all I need to do is break my piggy bank and rent a trailer to carry it back to my garage, I hope.
I'll add to this thread. The '84 928 on ebay, located in Columbus, IF anyone wants the word on this one, I've gone and looked at it.
John or Randy, how far may I go in describing what I've seen? Not really BAD, just fair warnings....

OK Randy, here goes;
Until this '84 hit whatever it did, the exterior was in very good shape. Whatever it hit, took out the front spoiler almost entirely, banged the lower frame guard (?), bent AND broke the left front rim, bent and tore the anti-sway bar off, broke the top ball joint, popped the tie-rod off, then the wheel jammed into the wheel well, and stuffed the fender back into door and lower windsheild, so the fender's rear edge is crumpled up. The item the car hit also stuffed the wheel so hard into the wheel well, the wheel pushed the shock tower into the engine compartment, thereby also bending the fender up in the middle, right over the shock tower area. Then the item did some damage to the underside as it rolled out, although this isn't too bad.
This was too bad, 'cause the car looked like it did look good, externally.
The interior is BLUE, not black, and for a 928, after what I've seen at the various 928 events I attended this year, pretty tatty! A cheap radio, with just a quick glance, the dash was pulling (A LOT)away from the right defrost vent, otherwise typical cracking, the carpet was evidently used, abused, and put away wet several times, if this year has a fader control beside the driver, the **** is missing, there was a cable from something lying on the floor, may not have been from this car, the front seats were worn, I don't remember any tears, there was a warrantee booklet, but no owner's manual, otherwise seemed to have the entire interior.
Thankfully, the alternator was NOT hit. They say the engine runs well, I didn't ask to hear it. Any other questions? Fire away!

Check this one out. Not really along the same lines but it sure is a beaut! Thsi s my dream car. Year, model, color combo, trans etc. they want too much for it for me. Even so, I would give up my 84S for this one. I hope a rennlister, or at least a person who will appreciate it buys it and takes proper care of it. Oh how my heart aches.
lol.
Sorry to all, I forgot to add the link at the time of my post. The auction has ended
but hopefull you can still see the pics here-->928S4 my dream color, year, and setup. Unfortuantly they listed it as a 10cyl and likely don't know squat about it aside for the part that reads "Porsche" on the rear bumper.
