Post Vacuum line suicide. Good by cruel world!!

So I've completed reassembling the driver's side after powder coating the intake and cam covers. I'm moving over to the passenger's side to hook up the throttle and I snag my work light on the vacuum line from hell that goes on top of the throttle body and yank it off. I think it's JUST long enough to make a noose out of so I can hang myself! My wife, who has small hands (she used to be a radio announcer---WEE PAWS FOR STATION IDENTIFICATION) swears she can reattach it, but I'll believe it when it happens.
I wish I were a drinker!!!!!

Help is on the way!

I'll send you a bottle of my Road Rage Reducer ale and you'll be able to telepathically install it!

I have a long pair of medical locking foreceps for these kinds of things. I had to replace every hose on my '79 and they were worth their weight in gold.

Hmmmmm,
A pair of super long Kellys and use the straight shot approach from the front of the engine. It would still be a one handed job. Maybe a dental mirror. Prayer? A trained cockroach? The Incredible Shrinking Man?

wet the vacuum line connector or otherwise lube it (I use spit) and it will push on much easier. Mirrors, clamps and foreceps are a must.
