San Diego (Late) 928 owners - assistance
Hello,
I was wondering if there were any 87, 88, or 89 S4 owners in the San Diego area that would mind assisting a fellow 928 owner:
I think my LH brain went kaputski, and I need to make sure before I place my order for a DTA computer to replace the MAF, EZK, and (possibly) broken LH. All I need to do it plug MY lh into YOUR 87, 88, or 89 S4, and see if it starts. I think this is the easist way. I can also have you plug in YOUR computer into MY car, but I think that is too much commitment on your part, as we have to take it out, etc.
This could take all of 5 minutes, Then I will know if its the LH or something else. Please ask around if you are concerned if by putting your computer in my car that it will break you car.

Well, I appreciate your offer Randy, but I will sit on my hands for that one. I think that if someone wants to email me, I will be gracious and accept, but I feel it is too forward to actually hunt them down to ask.
I will actuallybe sending the unit to 928intl to test it, after I have played with a few relays. At that point, if it is kaput as I believe, I will simply double my efforts to go DTA and also sell my EZK and MAF units if that is even possible in this market.

81 auto - contract extended.

Well, actually, randy, I do see a difference.
If I say it here, people have the option to not respond if they are not comfortable with having me plug into thier cars. If I ask them personally, they may feel pressure or uncomfortable. I would.
This is my explanation for my process. I will be sending it to 928intl anyway, to have it tested. Less risk to fellow sharksters. <img src="graemlins/drink.gif" border="0" alt="[cherrsagai]" />
