Tow loops
Does anybody know of aftermarket tow loops that will fit the early tow loop threads? There are some that fit late threads (and early rear?) since they are the same as 911s.

that looks a lot stronger than the one that comes in the car, and less suseptible to sidways snapping

Can anybody verify that the tow eye/lug/loop thread changed between 1983 and 1984? If it changed then, I can use all the options available to 951s and 911/930/964/993/996s.
