![Question](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
I have 1 XO laptop that is perfect for a child, or even an adult that desires a rugged, durable, and colorful laptop (as long as your eyes are good, and fingers small....).
As I don't have children (or nieces/nephews, etc) of age suitable for this as a gift, I would like to trade for some parts for my '80 928.
List of parts I would like to talk trade (maybe plus $):
*Intake spider (Euro S if anyone is feeling extra generous
)
*Wheel spacers
*Braided S/S brake lines
*Armrest/cassette console
*Speedometer in KPH (>140kph/85mph)
*Working ignition spares (ignitor? module, cap rotor)
*Megasquirt kit
Regards
Ken

you may try selling that on Ebay then turning around and looking for parts.
Arent those supposed to be $50 by sometime next year? Actually I didnt think you could buy them. They arent made for consumers. Ive seen the guy who's program it is in 60 minutes a few times. Cool idea. Apparently Microsoft is trying to get in on this as well and big business being what is it, they want to crush this idea so there is no competition so this OLPC could become a collectors item as most are apparently in Africa

FWIW It cost me $400, as part of the give one/ get one program, so the acknowledged value is $200/ea. It is not as fast as the EEE pc, but definitely more rugged and the wireless range is 2nd to none; I found and connected to 3 new open access points in my neighbourhood that none of my other laptops could even find. For routine surfing its great, but the keys simply are not adult sized, so no long winded emails (or rennlist postings)
I can send pics if you like. Would like to trade for spacers & armrest/cassette/console. Don't really need the cassette part though-just want to get as much storage as possible.
