Post Make up Mirror

I understand this mirror only went in non-sun roof 928s. Where did it go exactly, never seen one installed. <img src="graemlins/drink.gif" border="0" alt="[cherrsagai]" />

I just went out to the garage and looked. I kind of remembered the little vanity mirrors on the sun shades in my 87 928s4. Sure enough, there they were, one on each side. Don't know about other MYs, but mine had them. Cadillac also has them in the rear seats.

I believe they sit flush in the headliner above and slightly behind the heads of the driver and front passenger, to provide a mirror for the munchkins sitting in the back seats. Explains why they were offered only on non-sunroof 928s.

Hi Jerry: It goes into the roof liner, above the visors. It is hidden by the visor when the visor is up. I believe, only very early models without sunroof had it.

I've got only one mirror on the passenger side (no sunroof). As Nicole mentioned it is integrated into the headliner. Push a little button and it drops down. When you are done primping simply push it back flush with the headliner. It was a big selling point with my wife until I gave her the keys. I figure I'll need at least an S4 to keep up with her now.
