Wow, never seen that one before.
Tool hooks into the flywheel diagnostic port. Bolt holes don't matter, it's where the tool grabs (I think of the ring teeth for the sensor). I think the one I have is put together to it works on both configurations (i.e., I think both models have a different number of teeth).
I think you should take an inventory of you tools. Need the socket for the crank pulley, large torque wrench for putting the bolt on, and small scale torque wrench. Let me know what you don't have. This weekend would be a good time to do the transfer.

This happend to a friend here, his wife "bumped" the mirror in the garage and it was just hanging on the side of his Euro.
That spring is real strong and we had to push down hard to get the threads to catch.
I would recomend removing the mirror to do it too, also using some Locktight on the bolt that holds the spring in place.
Good luck

Thanks - fixed
I did take the mirror assembly apart - after struggling to screw the bolt in for a while with the mirror attached. Thought taking the mirrored glass off was going to be difficult, but was very easy. Took all of the pieces of the mirror housing off except the base and upright support. Jammed a small pry bar on the cheese head, pushed and turned.
Helped me realize the door where the mirror base attaches was bent out of shape - wish the idiots would learn how to park or quit driving.
Thanks all that helped out.
