Can anyone tell me where to get the Porsche sticker that fills in the indentation on the rear bumper in black? I know that at one time there was someone doing them in basically any color. Any leads would be great.
There is a fella(gal) on eBay who offers this option. He'll (she'll) cut decals in any color for you. Try a search for porsche 928 - that ought to get you in touch with him (her).
I just bought a silver outline on ebay, it was OK but I had to wait 32 days to get it, and 3 emails trying to find out why/when he was going to send it.
928intl has them listed on their web site. I would think they would be from Porsche but have not checked.
Yep - the switch overlays for the center console switches are availabe from Paul Jager (www.jageng.com/). Seems like I remember there're about $15/set.
I've got a set of the Porsche decals for the rear of the 928 if you are interested. $30 delivered to your doorstep USPS. I got them off the lady in Texas then got rid of my 928 to get my 944 Cab. Anyway, I think that's what I've got in the decals. They are black.
I'm bettin' you will be dissatisfied with the final appearance if you follow that approach.
If you are going to buy the decals, be SURE you get the right measurements. There is a difference in the size of the Porsche indented part on the rear cover. Ask me how I know. I have a set some where around here that don't fit.
