I was a member last year and went to OCIC in Denver-had fun. Not a member this year.. Didn't feel like I was part of anything. Plus being out here in Kansas......the closest 928 is probably 300-400 miles away. would like to do more 928 functions but there are no 928's around here. We have a huge fair grounds that would be great for a gathering and would cost next to nothing if anything to use. But there wouldn't be anything else to do besides 928 stuff (1 steak house in town) and driving.

Sure, Straight is fun too - actually any kind of driving in the 928 is fun. To the north of me are hills and some winding roads. but yea, there area alot of straight roads. troppers are few too and almost no traffic.... Can't wait until spring..

The club has had two DE's in Oklahoma (Hallett) and national meetings in Wichita, KS. IIRC, the last DE has 23 928's running. It's about time to start lobbying for another one.

I would love to mingle with other 928 freaks on a regular basis. It would be great to go to/on weekend gatherings like the people in CA. hands on tech support would be awesome But I’m not close to anybody or anything. I’m at 67731 - you do the math…
