928OC Member here too. A "Den Mother" for Florida as David Lloyd likes to call me. Guess its not the first nor last time I'll be called a "mother"! 928 Owners Club is the only group specifically decicated just to 928 Owners. Everyone who owns a 928 should join & support them cause they support pretty much any and all 928 functions that happen! For barely the cost of 1/2 a tank of gas for your Shark, its money well spent!

I was a member, but my attorney has recently cleansed me of all my "disposable" wealth. I lurk in the shadows of the shopping center near here and beat up people for their spare change and soon I'll have enough to pay my dues to the 928 Owner's Club again.

Charter member and looking over the greater AZ area. Enjoyed many OCICs and other chances to meet the many owners of Porsche 928s across the country.

We like doing things in a more spontanious form. We get together as many as possible, sometimes two, three, ten people, whoever can come. As a Denmother for this area it is always fun when we all get together and somehow someone new shows up.
I have spoken to David Lloyd many times and always a pleasure. We have never met and maybe someday he can come to visit us poor soles here on Long Island. I do know, David put together a trip to Groton, Ct. The trip I heard went great. Anything to get us together is fine as far as I am concerned.
And to the military guys at Groton, thanks and Godspeed

Hi Larry,

Sorry to hear about your past experience. That was before I took on the leadership of the club. I can assure you we have our act together now. Hopefully you understand we can not fix the past.

I have been president since 2003, so I can be held liable for any complaints since then. I do my best, as well as the volunteers on the board and a couple of key volunteers who are involved on recurring task, David Lloyd as membership chair and Teri Knebel as advertising chair.

We do have elections each year and have seen changes on the board, but apparently nobody is foolish enough to take on my role

Thanks to all the members who support the club
