Post Willowsprings Day

My friends (Racerguys) and I have rented the track at Willowsprings on three separate occassions.
We run a three groups beginning, intermediate and expert..Max cars per group 15.
We have rented the track again on April 17,2002 so if anyone would like to join us please check out hotrodbuick.com for details....Cost is $115.
This is a not for profit deal. We have had two 928's in the past but would like to see more.
Check it out!

Hey Gary, what kind of cars are invited. I own a Dwarf car. Its a race car that usually races on circle dirt tracks, but can be set up to run pavement road courses. It looks like a Legends car with fenders. Just wondering if I could bring it out if I dont have a race scheduled for that day. If we dont have a race I could be able to get a few Dwarf cars to go out there. If you want to see what they look like please visit www.cdcra.com

Curt...actually I have no problem with any type of car. However Willowsprings is one of the fastest tracks west of the Mississippi. I would think that the gearing would be wrong (to low). I might be wrong. Can they go over 110 mph in a straight line.

Gary, I can put different gears in the car. We use a modified 8 bolt Toyota rearend. Usually out of older Toyota Corolla's. Imagine that. We put billet axles and a mini or full spool in them. I have gears ranging from 4.11's to 3.33's. I run a set of 3.73's at the Perris Speedway which is close to a 1/2 mile track. Our cars reach right at 100mph. My car was clocked at 103!!! Oh yeah I forgot to mention that we only run one gear. The motor I use is a 2000 fuel injected Honda CBR 1100xx blackbird motor. Its one bad *** motor. The transmission is a 6 speed so im sure the car would really rock in a long straight. Remember the bike that this came out of would top out at around 180mph. And depending on who you talk to it has 160hp-185hp. Thats pretty quick in this size of a car. Our cars must weigh 1,000lbs I am confident that at Willow I could run the 3.73's or 3.90's and use the entire transmission. I am a little worried about the driveline since we normally run on dirt compared to running on asphalt. I know there will be more abuse on asphalt but it does sound fun.

As far as the pics at www.cdcra.com im not sure whats going on. The site has been a bit slow for the past month. I will find out whats up with it.
