They also were only used in the Mustang Cobras, which now leads me back to the Flowmaster opinion of the 928 sounding like a Mustang....Unless it's a Mustang Cobra with Flowmasters, the 928 won't sound like a regular Mustang GT unless it's just sitting there idling.

You might want to give up. Mach 1s are non-supercharged 32V.

I meant when they first started using them in the mustangs. I saw the Mach 1 specs already when I looked it up on wikipedia to see when the modular was dropped into the production cars. Easy dude, like I said before, I know Chevys not Fords. They do spit out good numbers, but I don't think I would have the patience for one after what I've been through with a Ford Exploder

I have an 87 S4 Flowmaster Super 40's, my coworker has a 2003 Mustang Mach 1 with the same mufflers. They sound really kinda close to maybe something like around 94.7% to 98.8% similar, sort of.

That Mach 1 with Super 40s is probably the closest thing people can hear to relate to a 928 with those.

I'm getting my exhaust done the following Saturday with Super 40s, high flow cats and an X-pipe. I'll put a video up of what it sounds like. I can't wait - unfortunately my neighbors will hate me.
