Post Our Ebay Fraud Buddy

Thought this is interesting, found it on another forum....
Trying to keep others informed.

Message Title: Robert C. Hack/Motodyne - CYBERCRIMINAL

Message:

Just a heads up that Robert C. Hack (a notorious Ebay fraud) is using a new seller ID on Ebay. It is "s_model". Hack's past names have included holbert959, RobracerX, germanubercars, kassandria16, miller216, and most recently lifestyle_26. If you check the feedback history, you will notice that he will start several new names, then do "deals" with himself do get enough positive feedback before defraduing real people. Robert Hack has defrauded hundreds of people, including myself. I am currently in contact with the FBI, and they are quite interested in Mr. Hack. A guy named Jimmy Pribble at URS4.com has put up the following website entitled "Murderdyne":

<a href="http://www.urs4.com/kurbin/kurbin.html" target="_blank">http://www.urs4.com/kurbin/kurbin.html</a>

The site is enormously entertaining, particularly for those unacquainted with Robert C. Hack of Cherry Hill, NJ. "Murderdyne" is a parody of Hack's "company" called Motodyne:

<a href="http://www.motodyne.com/home.html" target="_blank">http://www.motodyne.com/home.html</a>

The "products" sold by Motodyne are completely fictitious - you simply send in your money and he takes it!

If anyone out there has been defrauded by Robert Hack, please send me an email, or call me at the number listed below. I have a HUGE list of Hack's fraud victims already. Thanks, and watch out for Cyber Crime.

I glanced through the URS4 page and it's pretty scary. This Hack guy can rip you off at leisure but return the favor and he threatens to bring
bodily harm.

Hey guys

If you haven't found it yet, the best central clearinghouse for these matters is the FBI's Internet Fraud Complaint Center:

From their website:

"The Internet Fraud Complaint Center (IFCC) is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C)."

"IFCC's mission is to address fraud committed over the Internet. For victims of Internet fraud, IFCC provides a convenient and easy-to-use reporting mechanism that alerts authorities of a suspected criminal or civil violation. For law enforcement and regulatory agencies at all levels, IFCC offers a central repository for complaints related to Internet fraud, works to quantify fraud patterns, and provides timely statistical data of current fraud trends."

Under "new items" he has listed a 6 speed T-56 trans. conversion kit for the 928 but no pictures or info. <img src="graemlins/nono.gif" border="0" alt="[nono]" />

VERY VERY interesting about the corvette tranny kit... I heard from a personal source that someone was making one of those and making an ad for a growing 928 magazine... I'll contact the editor and make sure its not the same guy. Maybe its not and we would have a cool new toy for our cars?!

Barry,

What is your experience with Part Werks?..I have been giving him pleanty of time to either return my money or send me another set of operational speakers for my car. We're only talking $35.00 here, but every time I call there seems to be another "story". Monday is the deadline, he either sends parts or sends me a check...

I won't deal with them again...

Hey John,
Well the LH in my 87 blew that chip that controls the fuel pump relay (I had 100% confirmation of that), and it said Part Werks on the side. I sent it in after talking to James who said we might be able to slip it in under warranty and get that fixed for you. I said great, sent it in with a letter saying, thanks for what you're doing, I think if you could slip it in and get that fixed under warranty, that would be awesome, blah blah blah. So I wait about a week, call them, and from here on I get the displeasure of talking to Jay. He says its a used model and can't be fixed under warranty. I say, ok send it back to me I'll see whta I can do. He ends the conversation with, well I'm going to send it out to get tested. I wait another week or so and call. Hes not in, call later, I get that twice. Call again, and get the shipping guy and he says there is payment due. So I talk to Jay and the fun begins. He tells me that he tried slipping it in but it was rebuilt and that I have to pay for it. I told him that I wanted it sent back, and I also NEVER authorized a paid repair and that I want it sent back to me. He says I'm smoking crack and that I'm not getting it unless I pay. After about 15 minutes of straight arguing I say, ok, how about you send me a broken one and give the customer my good rebuilt one. (That way everyone is happy). He says that is lying to the customer, but will do it anyway. So now I get to wait for a broken one. Except James, the good guy, knew nothing about any of these developments, so now I'm just waiting. I'm going to take legal action if I'm not satisfied. My car has been without a brain for so long its starting to smell, unacceptable. Thats my story, sorry for the rant. DO NOT DEAL WITH JAY AT PART WERKS!!!

Assuming that he is still using the seller name lifestyle_26, he has "listed" a set of 928 repair manuals on ebay. These things always get a lot of bids, so you might want to warn everyone you know in this forum. Would hate to see a shark owner get bitten by this guy. This is a link to his auction-http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1875285251. I looked at his history and all the negatives were complaints that he took their money and never sent the items. Sounds like the same guy.

lifestyle_26 is fairly active on ebay these days. Lots of new stuff, such as AC conversion kits and fuel rail gauges. See at <a href="http://cgi6.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewSellersOtherItems&userid=lifestyle_26" target="_blank">http://cgi6.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewSellersOtherItems&userid=lifest yle_26</a> what's you might rather not bid on.

I noticed his new level of activity, and e-mailed him about my "missing" part, since August of this year. <img src="graemlins/cussing.gif" border="0" alt="[grrrrrrr]" />

He got snotty and even threatening. Now he has blocked me from bidding on his stuff, because I bid, then retracted, leaving a note saying that he didn't send "bought" items. Guess he was pissed. Now I just e-mail bidders direct. <img src="graemlins/soapbox.gif" border="0" alt="[soapbox]" />

Brian,

Try following my original post from this topic and give your info to the appropriate individuals. It may or may not help you out. But it may help convict this raunchy slim ball.

Maybe the T-56 conversion could work, considering its used in the viper and the vett and its in the back of the car it would neem an adapter to the torque tube and mounting point mods. i bet it would fit. that would be nice to have 6 speed in my 928

I find this a little suspicious...there is a spare tire cover for sale on e-bay, which, as i recall, was one of the items frequently sold by Lifestyle_26. The picture of the item references the website <a href="http://www.beckerelectronics.com" target="_blank">www.beckerelectronics.com</a> which also lists many items for the 928, all of which I know were sold on e-bay by the very same guy mentioned above.

Does the beat go on?
