Hack is a f'n jerk. He hit me for a minimal amount a while back, and I have tormented him many times since. Beware though, he is now trying to hit victims with a 6 speed conversion kit and he is extremely elusive and manipulates e-bay very well.

Just a bump, as this clown is still operating out there. ALL of us should be aware of him and aware of his many ebay names. D

I have been prevented from bidding on his auctions, because I used to bid and then retract with a warning in the explanation box. Also, he often uses "protected austions" to hide the bidder's identity so that one could not warn bidders.
I was ripped for a spare-tire cover.

Cool

Incidently, I'm going to be putting a bunch of stuff on Ebay:

1. Front seat racing harnesses- I only installed one side and got cold feet.

2. Seat covers...nasty lambs wool things. Not my taste, but they are in great condition.

3. Spacers. My car came with some nasty BBS rims that I gave away. I went to Cup 1 rears in 9 inch configuration....

4. A front bra. It is a bit torn in a few areas...average condition. DOES NOT INCLUDE THE MIRROR BRAS-

5. Might be a few other items. I have a box full of stuff in the attic that contains items from three cars! More on this later.

For your imformation, my Ebay name is "Mark223"-. You can rest assured that if you buy some of this stuff, it gets sent the moment the post office opens!

Wow,

I feel lucky... the manuals I was waiting on that finally arrived were from the becker electronics site. I did however have to send 4 email complaints and file a complaint with paypal. I didnt know that this was the guy that was ripping everyone off. I hit becker electronics site off one of the 928 supliers links... they should look into that.

cheers

Z,

I am curious if you got the real thing. If so, he bought them off of eBay and resold them. He has a history of selling things he doesn't quite own yet.

I am glad you got something for your money - many people haven't.

And then there are folks like me. I won an auction on eBay for the manuals...on CD. After I had paid for them, and they had been shipped, eBay was kind enough to let me know that they were pulling the auction because of some problem authenticating the goods. Seller claimed he didn't know why eBay did this, even after I mentioned the copy scam.

I did get the CD, but they were indeed an illegal copy. All the pages scanned into PDF files (as advertised), and burned to a normal CDR. Obviously, someone else must have reported him but he is still selling regularly and has close to 500 feedback.

So what does one do? I cannot leave feedback on the auction as eBay has pulled it. And I did get what I paid for, though it is probably breaking several copyright laws.

Cobey,
All of the CDs are 'illegal' and as soon as Porsche's ebay watchdog get's around to it the sellers auctions will be removed....don't ask me how I know

Yeah, I figured as much when I was shopping around and saw several mentions that the manuals would most likely never come on CD. Until I got th CD itself, I chalked it up to out of date info. Now I know better.
