Isn't this the same guy who always sells questionable "low mile" 928s? If that is him, then he must be familiar enough with the 928 to fix the overheating problem, it it's a small repair...

Sounds like what my car did when the PO removed the 'stat and installed a 'Butt Plug' in the inner opening....and the plug worked itself loose.

Funny line "has a salvage history BUT clean title now " .....in car speak someone "washed "the title by running it through one of the few States where a salvage title (totaled car) suddenly has gets a new clean title . Bottom line the car was hit hard enough to be totalled typically when repair estimate is 50 -75 % of the market value of the car !!! So the owner got paid off and then someone " fixed " the car ..........
