Post 80 928 center comb flap

Hello,
I removed the center console which exposed the comb flap located in the heater/air box. The flap appeared to be broken at the hinge part so I removed the front cover of the heater/air box to get a better look. The flap is broken where it hinges and looks like it is part of the heater box. If so does the front half of the heater box need replacing? Is the flap held in place by the console center vent? Do I need the flap at all? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have a complete heater/airbox assembly that some could use for parts, just make me an offer plus shipping...
