Huntley Racing's S/C???????
So did anyone volunteer their car to be the test mule? Haven't heard anything for awhile and was wondering how things are going. Inquiring minds want to know!!!!!!!

Why would anyone in their right mind give up their 928 for Huntley to blow up? Check out the 944 boards and take a look at their impressive track record. :~)

We have three cars that have been offered up. They will not be brought in untill current projects have been completed. We will blow those up first then can take more after ;(

Seems to me that one has to accept some risk to a car being used as a testbed. After all, isn't the idea testing to make sure it doesn't blow up someone's car after the kits are sold to the public? If it wasn't my only car, I'd consider volunteering. '82 could use some extra power.
Maybe i just didn't search the right keywords, but I didn't see anything on the 944 board. Do you have a specific topic name to check out, Robert?

Checked the 944 board, too.
The day of the post . I couldn't find anything either.
Direction, or, a pardon me in order.
Maybe Randy could offer direction or Robert could point to specific posts ie engine blown, knock.
spun bearings etc.,.

"Robert", or whatever his real name is, was on the 928 mailing list the other day trashing Devek too. With some of what was in his posts there, he made it pretty clear that he doesn't have much of a clue as to what's going on.

Being a test car is rewarding too. You get hands on instalation by the manufacturer, extensive tyno tuning and street drivability testing, and the first on the block to have the work done. Of course the price is less too! I have NEVER blown up a prototype car in any project I have done. Just to clear that up.

Don't know. "Robert" and some other anonymous e-mail address suddenly showed up out of nowhere and started bashing, but haven't been heard from recently. Sounded like some 14 year old more than anything.

Robert Hack is still using e-bay selling 928 parts and other stuff. I have warned many people that are bidding on his items. I hope some of them listen to me.

Yeah, I hate it when people slam someone, and don't povide any evidence to their claims. I'm more than interested about folks experiences with any vendor, good or bad, but you need to be able to back up the claims with some "for-instances". Need names, dates, contact #, etc... If there are vendors out there with a good reputation, who are doing shoddy work and covering it up, I want to know about it. Whether it be Huntley, or one of the Big 3, or whomever. I'd like to make informed decisions on where my hard earned dollars go, but also not deny a vendor my business based on some childish a**hole's idiotic ranting. Personally I wish Huntley all the best in developing a safe, reliable, reasonably inexpensive supercharger for our beloved 928's. If the system works good, and others sing it's praises, then I'll be in line with my money.

Just some info:
There was a lot of trash talk about Huntley Racing on the 924/944/951/968 board. It spanned multiple threads. It is mainly by John Anderson and "TurboTim".
Here are some examples:
