These guys are the ticket....complete custom..anything you want...any width, any offset.....8.125 inches backspacing...sure no problem.....

They recommend their C10 1 piece forged wheel (black anodized sure looks mean too).....19lbs front 21lbs rear for 18x9.5 and 18x11....not bad....they say its their strongest wheel too.......far stronger than any 3 piece......gave me a good quote for a set of wheels-RA1's delivered to my door..... Too bad I don't have a 928 with rolled fenders to mount them on!!!

You gotta teach that puuuuuppy Thor how to type/paw the keyboard.
Might need to put some velcro on his left paw and the mouse so he can move the mouse around.

So is Forgeline out of favor with the 928 crowd?

Seems like everyone is carrying 18" on up wheel sizes.
Wonder who's the first to mount 22" bling bling wheels with inverse tires on a 928. Sigh!

About how much do these run? Anywhere near $2,500 - $3,000 why wouldn't you want Fikse wheels?

Forgelines are very nice.....but at about $1k per wheel...they get steep quick!! The quote from CCW was $2600 for 4 C10 (black anodized) 18x9.5 & 18x11 wheels...same as the webpage....

Mine have been great. I was tempted to go black annodized, but just went with a clear annodized finish. They stay pretty clean, and less fuss than I thought.

The look has grown on me quite a bit, and knowing that there really aren't any others out there as light and strong is a good thing.
see my sig for sizes.

265/35 front.....so your front wheels at et 68mm are a 7.92" backspacing or only 1.8mm less offset than a 8" backspacing....

Do you front wheels fit without rubbing??

They look even better in person. But then this is one of those cars you really have to see in person to appreciate. As nice as they come.

No rubbing, and I have tested them at the BRP with pretty good cornering loads. What's funny is that my old fronts at 8x17 et70 rubbed until I added a 5mm spacer; 245/40/17 tires. (and I had no idea they rubbed until hitting BRP in '06) Probably alignment becomes a factor in rubbing when fronts get big enough.

Thanks Dan.

Thanks for the info...just what I was looking for.....so a full 8in backspace would move the wheel 1.8mm closer on the inside.... but a 265 front tire that doesn't rub is pretty nice!!
