Default Kinesis wheels.....who carries them??

I've been looking for someone who carries Kinesis wheels that lists the price online....can't seem to find anyone......those of you with the wheels....where did you get them?

I'm looking for the standard racing sizes...18x9.5 8in backspacing front and 18x11 8 inch backspacing rear??

Brian -

Kinesis is dead as a motorsports wheel company and now only exists in name. The company was sold to Lexani and all the great old wheels are out the window in favor of the bling bling lifestyle ones. They can't even spell Kinesis right on their website.

Forget Kinesis and get some CCW Motorsports C10's or C14's. They're single piece and cheaper than the old Kinesis. If you do get some old Kinesis, you can go to HRE for the outer barrels.

I still have an account at Kinesis - they are not easy to deal with and you need patience.
Just bought the K28's that are on Jim's car.

They have to be easier to deal with than they were with the old owners a few months before they sold it. They were the most unprofessional and RUDE people I have ever dealt with.

Ironically the K28s I sold you for your GTS were the last set of Kinesis I sold before dropping them like a hot potato!!.

CCW is another possibility. Awesome sevice. You can get custom wheels machined from a big forging in one week for under 3K.

A different perspective...
I bought a set of K19's for my BMW just before the buyout by Lexani and my experience with the previous owners was 100% positive. They were a pleasure to work with and offered great customer service. Living in Carlsbad, I visited their headquarters often and established a great relationship with them. From this enthusiast's point of view, they were absolutely wonderful.

We still carry them, although most of what you have read is true - Let me know exactly what you are looking for, model, size, offset, color etc... And I can get you pricing. As said before; they can still be had, it just takes patience.

DR - my experiance was after the new owners took over - Jim and I had to walk them through putting together Jims wheels as they had no knowledge of a 928 at all.
It took over 3 months to get them.
They have some - not many - new designs which I like but the older K series is probably being dropped from there line.
PS: Good to have you back on the forum 8>)

Good, trust me it couldn't have been any worse than during those last few months. I am still dumbfounded that a manufacturer could ever treat any of their dealers like they did me at the end... much less one that had been with them for over 8 years and sold over $250,000 worth of Kinesis wheels for 928s!!

Thanks, I am glad to be back, even "gladder" that I can now type without tears !!!
