87 S4 With VIN 0444 piston oil squirter?

yes.......it should be.......generally speaking if you have a folding wing, you also have squirters....or you can be like me and have an 88 with an early 87 squirter engine!

Squirter blocks seem to have come with 87's up past serial number 1000 but no definite answer. I had one in mine..#1134 couldn't find a pic of the squirters, but here is one of the hinges on the wing.

Engine number is very high compared to VIN. Perhaps too high for entire '87 model production. Automatic engine numbers started from 5000 for this MY. This would mean over 4600 engines meant for automatic gearbox S4 were made before this one in '87 MY. 81H05648 would make lot more sense.

My Vin is 0125 on the chassis. I'm going to be doing rod bearings this weekend if the weather is tolerable. Where do I need to be looking for the squirter holes? I would like to know if mine has them for sure.
