Minato-Ku, Tokyo ... that place is CRAZY !!
My friend got a job in Japan and lives there.
Her studio apartment is about the size of my bathroom and she is paying about $2800 per month !!!
No wonder the nightclub owner could afford $180.000 Gullwing 928.

From the looks of those gullwing doors I think that Tarek and myself have talked of a better idea if such a creation is ever embraced that will retain the sunroof and all without loss of the sunroof , structural rigidity and excessive weight...!! To be continued.!!!....... Dave

Dave: That'll be interesting! How would yours open - manually, or with the help of hydraulics or electrics? Would it limit any headroom, like the SGS design does around the B pillar? How would rain water be drained? How would it be locked/unlocked from the outside?
And a general gullwing question: How would you get out, if the car lies on its roof after an accident? Maybe you can invent some hydraulic system that puts the car back on its wheels again. Now, THAT would be an innovation - no?

Are you sure? Because the guy with the pearl white 928 sent me 2 additional pictures, and told me the car was ordered for delivery to Saudi Arabia. It may have ended up at a German dealer, and was probably made by Jacquemond or Strosek, but the guy seemed to be on the level...
And Tarek, I have been collecting pictures of cars, perhaps even *yours*, but I have not had time to do an update to my website in a while. I have the Rhino, and several others, but I have not added the pictures...

bcdavis: It might have ben made for someone in Saudi Arabia - that I don't know. All I know is that those pictures you have on your website were once posted on the site of a German used car dealer.
I think the car is a Strosek conversion.

bcdavis,
How about this for your web collection ?
A black wide body S4 with NO rear spoiler.. looks kinda weird, though.

Gee...what's up with all the widebodies coming out of hibernation lately?
bcdavis, hopefully you'll be posting the original as well as the redesign of my widebody when it's done...

Send me pictures...
And yeah, it seems like a lot of these widebodies were made in the 80's, and are now hitting the market. I have seen a lot more ugly 80's widebodies than I have new Jacquemond kits...
The only one I think has *really* nice lines is this one:

bcdavis: Yes, that is one of the nicest ones out there
Jinn: On that black japanese one, they just removed the spoiler and put plugs in the holes. Maybe they thought the spoiler would not help in Japan's chronic congestion...
Elegant floor mats, though... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />
