I have an S4 which needs a couple of suspension parts. I also have a complete wreck. Should I pull the tierods and rack and just replace those, or would it work to pull the entire front suspension? Shocks included ...

Its heavy H, but you can remove the upper arm, lower arm, spindle, and brake caliper/rotor assembly from each side at once.

Brendan thanks .. I'm thinking to pull both sides and he rack .. but I think I'd end up dropping the engine in the process. So .. maybe drop the rack and remove first, then suspend the engine on the brace securely, then pull side at a time and replace of the wheel side, then instal the new rack?

What you said. My point was that you can remove each side assembly as a whole. But the rack would add way too much hassle IMO.
