Post Cat ? for a 1985 928s?

Does it really matter if there is no back pressure for a 185 928s?

Does it affect the way the O2 sensor works?

No back pressure means more power. Either way, it doesn't afect the oxygen sensor.

For #2 - no, so long as the "test pipe" is threaded correctly for the sensor and the sensor is located correctly in the pipe.

For #1 - sure doesn't seem to...matter of fact...
