Thanks for the kind words. Considering the source it means a lot to me.
I asked my son to clean up the aluminum pieces for me so I could do the final assembly after several mock ups. Then I have one major hurdle to go.
I'm waiting on my friend to finish the handmade aluminum shaker scoop. The dimensions of the airbox will be dictated by the outline of the scoop. The latest on the scoop progress is that I will have it in two weeks. Make the airbox, a week or two. Then it's all logistics. Hook everything up. Fuel up. Power up. Coolant, check. Contact!
Film at eleven!
It's been a long time, a lot of thinking, designing, decisions. I'm confident It'll work the way I designed it to.

It's so damn beautiful I could understand just letting it sit as is as a piece of mechanical high art.
