Extended Hub Steering Wheel For Sale
I have an extended hub steering wheel for sale. This is good for those with long legs that have to put the seat waaaay back, the wheel is extended out for easier reach. Came out of an 87 S-4 with approx. 120k miles on it, but should fit any pre-airbag 928. Wheel is in good condition, some of the stitching is worn down but the leather is not pulling up yet. You can install and use now, or maybe have Paul re-cover it for a really sweet feel (Paul re-covered a different wheel for me, and it is definitely worth it!)
$150 + shipping. Here are some pics, I can take more if needed.

Excellent upgrade, have one on my 81. I'm going to move the hub to the 3-spoke wheel the car came with.

Rich,
I would like to confirm this will fit an '84. Do you know for sure?? Also, how much of an extension does it provide?? It looks like the extension adds maybe 1-2 inches from the pics. Can you confirm the extra length?? THANKS!

I can't see the photos. Does anyone know why?
FWIW, you can go to a sewing shop and buy a curved leather needle and strong thread, and sew it back yourself. Do a search on this forum for this subject. And a little SEM product and your wheel will be in great shape.
The caution about the stalks being further away is a valid one. I have both a standard and an extended hub. But if your legs are long, shouldn't your fingers be longer as well? (no smart remarks please). Actually, I am 6'-0" and my extended hub is just about at the edge of comfort for the stalks. But I still want to move the pedals farther toward the front of the car.
