Well,
I for one hope this post doesn't die.
OneBad,
Could you keep a calender on recieved parts as the supplier(?) coughs them up, till all arrive? We all wish the best for you on this one... But a follow up would be nice. Save the shipping boxes if they go snail mail as a date reference for the non-believing, "let bygone's be bygone's" folks. On digital would be a nice touch.
Misplaced trust, wether a significant other, a friend, boss, co-worker is a hurtful thing. But you sure could drown a lot of sorrow with $8.3K.
Christ, If this is a scam I want in!!
Bambozzle 10 or 20 buyers for a year and just ladder the bank CD's. Sure, no big windfall, but the investment was free money to start with. And in the end, albiet a year or so, the buyer gets his stuff - maybe-.
I hope this DOES work out for you the SC installation goes well and performs even better than you hoped...more free info for the rest of us timid, slackards.
Chris,
Same thing, wishing you the best.
However, if you go to the house of Munck look around, spy a little - you and the semi-stiffed others are entitled to see what's going on.
Look before you leap and check out the other Munck post's, talk to the posters who have BTDT.
And if you do go, wander around asking questions till you find shipping, then ask who works shipping and for how long, then ask who got bagged lately? If no-one got bagged talk to Munck and ask if he fired that thief...If he say's yes, I would apply linkage to all past concerns.
As to being a SC pathfinder...reduce your risk!
It sounds as tho' your Mechanic will be on unfamiliar ground, and please do the reference work on Munck in the Archives. Contact that poster. You could hook up with some Mustang Performance Clubs and see who has SC'd how it worked out: performance, fit and finish. Then Go to thier speed shop and chew the fat on the installation.
You have already waited a year get someone to do it right.
John S.
