A lot of the info I heard about these kind of things, was via word of mouth, or gossip. It was not out in the light of day. The internet allows people to post their expereinces publicly.

Do you know what I would like?

A shop and vendor review section, where people can post their experiences, both good and bad, and let people decide for themselves... If I looked at the reviews of Projekt928, and saw the bad reviews, I could weigh those reviews against my own desire to get something from him, and how much money I would pay up front... Knowing this kind of thing, at least lets people know that they should pay him when the parts are ready, not beforehand...

I feel sorry for these people who got srooooD.
If there were more posts about this subject, they might not have lost so much $$$$$.

It's a dam shame good people get hammered and ripped off by the same guy in the 928 family. Eric has caused some problems on this board as well. I can think of only one solution to this issue, Eric needs to come clean here on the board and get his business in order.

to all those that support Munck why dont you check his supplier Vortech or check other companies that deal in the 928 world and get there response. The sad part is Munck is not a registered dealer for vortech as goes the info from vortechs dealer list.As for the hummers hes getting into the site is called SUPERHUMMER.COM.In 6 months he completed the first H2 kit all in the time i have been waiting for parts. If you dont believe me why dont you email him or call him and ask about his dealings with a customer from NY by the name of Lou.his # is (805)701-6354 or email techsupport@projekt928.com

Well,

I talked to Eric "this evening" and told him about the posts including mine. He told me all items are in and I can pick them up. So I plan to do so this weekend.

After I confirm recepit I will post my observation of the kit.

If all goes well I may even go to his shop so we can install it.

Blender, wrench, duct tape...

Ok, just kidding!

Glad you may finally get the kit you paid for...
Get it installed, and go roar around kicking some BMW butt!

See, that is what I can not figure out. Somebody gladly takes over $7000 from you on the promise to deliver some parts. One year later he says, yeah, come on over, I have the parts. Now you are considering installing them at his shop I guess I don't follow the logic there.

You may want to search the archives about his "installations". Judging by those, in another year or so, and another $20,000 later, you will be in the enviable position of retrieving a botched, non-running car, for someone capable to sort out.

I just need to butt out of this whole thing. It is just too hard to watch some people make such obvious mistakes. Good Luck

For Brent:

Well all I can say is this, out of all the 928 suppliers only 928 Intl has been consistently accurate (perfect) with stock and shipping as well as providing quality products. I have waited (forgotten) for "months" by all of the others with some pretty iffy excuses, but in the end I was satisfied with the product. Hey, I drive a specialty car that I am not taking to or getting taken by the dealer so I put up with a little.

Furthermore, as far as I am concerned Supercharging the 928 is still the frontier, period. Only a select few have really negotiated this and the path is not final. Basically I am taking a risk with this no matter who I go to including my own mechanic. Nuff said.

Hey on a separate subject did you get the front sway bar bushings? Also, can you post a picture of your wheels those look great, What are they?

For: tdelarm

I currently live in So Cal Orange County

For: onebad

Do you still plan on supercharging?

Does anyone have a count of people that have been allegedly taken by this guy? How do they get in contact with him other than the internet? It sure as hell can't be word of mouth? I can't imagine anyone that has visited this site and typed supercharger in a search would buy anything from him unless they knew him first hand. Why would anyone pay $1500 to $2500 more than FAST, with a perfect reputation, is asking? Anyone should be able to find FAST as easily on the internet and see that their kits are not $7K and $8K like the folks here mention paying for the Projekt 928 kit.

There must be a bigger market for superchargers than I thought if he is able to get 7-8k or even 23K without a lot of pleased customers.

Andy,

1. I have no idea how many?

2. I paid $7600 total to him.

3. For the price increase I have allegedly purchased an aftercooler, a boost by-pass valve and boost gage kit. Additionally with that price have received and installed an aluminum radiator (yes the same one sold elsewhere).

4. I was actually about to purchase from Mark at F-A-S-T, but at the time he did not have any complete kits on the shelf, nor did he have the aftercooler.

5. I guess I will know this weekend if I have been allegedly taken or not.

The wheels are custom offset BW Motorsports from 928 Specialists. I found it interesting that the centers had a Kinesis sticker on them. I bought 17x9 and 17x10s with 255s front and 275s rear.

Once I get done with the rest of my projects I will get the car outside and get some good pics. Here is a close up of a front wheel though.

PS. The swaybar bushings must have been someone else. I haven't done that one yet. <img src="http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/BWMwheel.jpg" alt=" - " />
