Default 1 OB, 3 3rd graders, and 3 below...

My son Noah is celebrating his 9th birthday. So tonight we're to head 25 miles to the Chicago Wolves (AHL) hockey game. Noah asks if we can take the Porsche...

Now for those of you who don't know, it's colddamncoldgettincolder here. Winds chills hit -20 F.

So we did it. Two in the back, Noah in front with me. (Hey, no airbag, so back off.)

The OB worked wonderfully. Sat out in the AllState Arena parking lot for three hourse, but turned right over and heated up like a champion. And I had to smile when a voice from the backseat said, "Whoa, where do those headlights come from?!!?"

Quite proud of the car tonight.

I'm glad to hear your car is running well and healthy! Did you finish up that alarm system/keyless entry?

84tothefloor,

That sounds fantastic. One thing I learned in Toronto, the heater is STRONG in our 928's.

Well, it was the great McKenzie who finished it up. Works wonderfully and is a nice feature, especially in the cold.

Hope you're staying warm, Borys.

Amen to that. I'm not sure where the heat comes from so fast, but I can feel warm air in the first two minutes. My father-in-law was the PO - lived in Fargo, ND. He recalls times of driving the car in -40 wind chill weather. So I figure the OB knows the cold.
