...in the US. It's the same 87-89 for Euro/ROW.If so, it can be swapped into any 87-89 and maybe 85-86, but gearing would be different (lower). I'm pretty sure pinion machining would be required to fit it in an 83-84 Euro/ROW tranny, but gear ratios would be the same as you have now.

I think with all the SC torque and the wheelspin at launch, I'd be looking for an earlier box with 2.20 LSD. So the force can be with you longer in the middle gears. It's not like there's a shortage of acceleration in 3-4-5, right?

I am going to take it apart and see what is needed first, it may not be too bad.
I only drag it when I am bored, there is a strip a few miles from the house. Otherwise, I am at Barber MSP or Talladega GP. I don't plan to drag anymore because of the wear and tear on the car.
